Why choose a pediatric dentist?

Village Kids Dentistry is a pediatric dental office focused exclusively on delivering the best possible dental care for children.

Children are not just small adults.  Pediatric dentists have specialized training not only in treating a child’s teeth, gums and mouth, but also treating children according to their stage in development. Pediatric dentists have chosen to treat children exclusively, and are the most qualified dentists to evaluate and care for your child.

Pediatric dental offices are also specifically designed to make children feel comfortable.  Toys and video game systems in the lobby and kid friendly decorations make the experience as positive as possible.  We also have specialized equipment such as smaller x-ray sensors designed for kid-sized mouths.

Dr. Emily Pham was born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio, and received her dental degree from Case Western Reserve University. Her own pediatric dentist influenced her dental journey. He was always so attentive, cheerful and made visiting the dentist something to look forward to every six months. Early in dental school, Emily also found working with kids especially joyous and rewarding. She focused her studies on the specific challenges children and their families may face when establishing their dental home.

Dr. Pham earned her Certificate in Pediatric Dentistry at Rainbow Babies and Children’s Hospital (CWRU, 2019) and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.

Dr. Emily moved to Washington in early 2020 to be closer to family and is excited to explore the mountains and shores of the Pacific Northwest. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, CrossFit, and seeking out new culinary experiences.
